Chelsea went to live in her forever home in New Jersey with her malt brother Fargo on August 15, 2000. Her mom, Joann, wrote the following update of her life with her new family: 

"Chelsea has been with us about five months now, she is doing very well, she loves her new home, and is very comfortable. Her favorite spots are on the couch, my bed, or next to the treat cabinet in the kitchen. She is very well behaved, and quite a little watch dog. She loves the snow and just being outside along with Fargo my other malt. They really love each other, and have been caught kissing each other many times.

Fargo and Chelsea will be going on their first vacation this summer to Martha's Vineyard with us, as we cannot bare the thought of being without them. Thank you so much Jill for bring her into our lives."
